Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): XbaI--20.0, 17.0, 9.2, 0.96; SacI--20.0, 9.2, 4.9 (doublet), 4.4 (doublet); XhoI--20.0, 18.0, 9.2; SmaI--20.0, 14.0, 7.2, 5.8; PvuI--23.0, 12.0, 8.2. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): EcoRI--2.9, 4.6, 11.2, 13.6, 14.5. Contains a productive rearrangement of Vgamma4 and Jgamma2. The insert begins about 4.3 kb upstream of Vgamma2 and extends 3.8 kb beyond TCRGJ2. The insert extends 3.3 kb more in the 5' and is 1.9 kb shorter in the 3' end than lambdaS13.
