Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.4, 1.4; BglI--2.3, 1.5, 1.2, 0.5, 0.2; SalI--4.2, 1.6; AvaI--4.0, 1.85; BamHI--5.8. Previously incorrectly recorded as containing the human sequence. This is the same as ATCC 41034. Corresponds to nt 2466 to nt 3912 on the A-MuLV map. The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt position according to published sequence): BglI--2815, 3396; AccI--2833; SstI--2842; PstI--3000, 3035, 3184; SalI--3517; HincII--3519. Contains the p102 coding region and about 90 bp of 3' untranslated sequence. The BclI polymorphism is uncharacterized. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: MspI, EcoRI, BamHI, BglII, SstI, DdeI. |
