In IJSB 34:222, 1984, it is stated that NCDO 2313 = NCTC 11428. However, NCDO 2313 = F87/276 and NCTC 11428 = F87/268. The ATCC and NCDO have confirmed that NCDO 2313 and NCTC 11428 are not equivalent.
The type strain of Enterococcus gallinarum is ATCC 49573.
