The insert contains PstI sites at nucleotides 3460, 4327, and 4893 relative to the 5' end of the complete cDNA sequence. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.4, 3.0; BamHI--7.4; PstI--4.4, 1.6, 0.8, 0.6; HindIII--7.4. This insert contains the 3' sequences of the cDNA, from nucleotide 2413 to 5413. HL-40 (ATCC 65008, 65009) and HL-42 (ATCC 65014, 65015) overlap. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: EcoRI, SphI, BamHI, HindIII, MspI, TaqI, PstI, HaeIII, RsaI, HinfI (in 20 unrelated Finnish individuals). |
