The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt position according to the published sequence): PstI--5318, 9763, 10769, 11227, 16150; BamHI--5462; EcoRI--9906, 10198, 19732, 19983; HindIII--15707, 16270, 17864, 18893. The 5' end overlaps the 3' end of lambdaHAFP31 (ATCC 65734, 65735) by 11.8 kb. Together they contain the complete gene. Extends from approximately nt 4400 to the end of the published sequence, and contains exons 4-15, three Alu repeats, and two "Xba" repeats.
