Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/NotI--3.1, 2.9; BamHI--3.1, 2.4, 0.6; BglI--4.0, 1.3, 0.8; NcoI--3.4, 2.5, 0.3; XhoI--6.2. This construct corresponds to a potential splice variant, STAT5b delta(40C), that does not encode 41 amino acids at the COOH terminus of the full-length protein. |
