Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII--5.5; EcoRI--3.4, 1.25, 0.64; EcoRI/HindIII--2.7, 1.25, 0.71, 0.64. An EcoRI/HindIII double digest shows insert fragment sizes of 1.0, 0.5, and 0.45 kb. Codominant segregation of the RsaI RFLP demonstrated in 46 3-generation families. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, BglII, EcoRI, HindIII, MspI, PstI, PvuII, TaqI. |
