Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): XhoI--2.9, 1.6; HindIII--3.1, 1.5; PstI/PvuI--2.4, 1.2, 0.52; BamHI--3.0, 1.4; BglI--2.5, 1.2, 0.48. The construction of this clone is not well documented. The 1.4 kb BamHI fragment has been used as a probe to detect RFLPs. It may also contain PstI/PvuII fragments of 0.4 and 0.5 kb. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: ApaI, BamHI, BanII, BglI, BglII, CfoI, EcoRI, EcoRV, HincII, HinfI, HpaII, KpnI, MspI, PvuII, RsaI, SacI, ScaI, XbaI, XmnI (panel of 10-16 unrelated Caucasians). |
