Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII--7.8, 4.85; PstI--4.2, 2.45, 1.8, 1.65, 0.69; EcoRI--13.0; BamHI--13.0, 0.5; SalI--13.0. This plasmid shows some instability. We recommend growing on LB agar with ampicillin, and picking colonies to select the correct clone. Contains the complete gene. |
