Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--7.1; HindIII--3.8, 3.3; BamHI--7.1. The HindIII polymorphism shows X-linked segregation in several CEPH pedigrees, with family numbers 35, 28, 1331, and 1345 being informative. For the TaqI polymorphism, the A3 allele with a 3.5 kb band has been observed in one person only. This probe was subcloned from GLp11-1. |
