Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--6.8; EcoRI/HindIII--3.8, 2.95; PstI--3.5, 3.0, 0.67. Codominant segregation demonstrated in 44 3-generation families. Shows tight linkage to the EBN (BFNC) locus, giving a maximal LOD score of 2.87 (theta = 0.039). RFLPs were observed under normal conditions of hybridization and washing. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BglII. |
