Clinical isolate
Resistant to caspofungin,anidulafungin,5-flucytosine and itroconazole.
Susceptible to amphotericin-B, posaconazole and voriconazole.
Morphology
On YM medium colonies are cream colored with a smooth, mucoid texture; the margin is entire. Cells are globose to ovoidal and single, in pairs and often in small clusters or short chains.? Elongate cells may be present. Small amount of sediment is formed.
