Insert contains an internal PvuII site. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--6.2; HindIII--5.0, 1.2; BamHI--6.2; SalI--6.2; EcoRI--3.5, 2.7. This construct is not stable when freeze-dried and is distributed from liquid nitrogen stock. This probe identifies a muscle-specific mRNA, 25-30 kb long, encoding human nebulin. |
