Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): SalI--3.1; HindIII/PstI--2.7, 0.4; BamHI--3.1; EcoRI--3.1; HindIII--3.1. The insert of this clone was subcloned from the cosmid coshTAT-1 and includes 5' flanking sequences of the TAT locus. The polymorphic MspI site is 27 kb from the polymorphic HaeIII site. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, BglII, EcoRI, HindIII, PstI, PvuII, TaqI, XbaI (tested on 10 unrelated individuals). |
