|
| Clinical Data |
female The original tumor was passaged once in female BALB/c mice, and the resulting tumors were harvested and passaged in vitro for six months. |
| Tumorigenic |
Yes |
| Effects |
Yes, produces tumors with papillary adenocarcinoma morphology in BALB/c mice |
| Comments |
Electron microscopic examination detected the presence of cellular tonofilaments and desmosomes.
No type B or C virus particles were detected, although intracisternal A particles were observed occasionally. The original tumor was passaged once in female BALB/c mice, and the resulting tumors were harvested and passaged in vitro for six months. |
| Complete Growth Medium |
The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
|
| Subculturing |
Remove medium, rinse with 0.25% trypsin, 0.03% EDTA solution and remove trypsin. Add fresh trypsin solution and let the culture sit at room temperature (or at 37°C) until the cells detach. Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 is recommended
