| Disease |
Lymphoma |
| Applications |
The antibody reacts with the mouse lymphocyte mucosal homing receptor. It is specific for mouse alpha 4, beta 7 heterodimers, and can induce alpha 4, beta 7 dependent lymphocyte aggregation. DATK32 is useful in flow cytometry methods using sensitive second stage reagents, but is ineffective in immunohistological staining. |
| Derivation |
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. |
| Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against murine alpha 4, beta 7 integrin |
| Cellular Products |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against murine alpha 4, beta 7 integrin |
| Comments |
Animals were immunized with cells of the TK1 murine T cell lymphoma. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts with the mouse lymphocyte mucosal homing receptor. It is specific for mouse alpha 4, beta 7 heterodimers, and can induce alpha 4, beta 7 dependent lymphocyte aggregation. The antibody inhibits alpha 4, beta 7 mediated adhesion activities including binding to MAdCAM-1, and alpha 4, beta 7 dependent VCAM-1 and fibronectin binding. DATK32 is useful in flow cytometry methods using sensitive second stage reagents, but is ineffective in immunohistological staining. |
